Hello there
Welcome to your semi-regular digest of upcoming Spring training, user
groups and conferences in Asia-Pacific.
=====================================================================
CORE SPRING TRAINING
=====================================================================
Our popular Core Spring training courses provide four days of intensive,
hands-on enterprise development training - from the very people who
wrote Spring. Core Spring now includes comprehensive coverage of Spring
IoC, AOP, transactions, persistence, scheduling, web MVC, Web Flow, JMX,
JMS, remoting, security, scheduling, IDE, testing and web services
capabilities. This is the ultimate course for both new and existing
Spring users. We have openings remaining in the following cities (plus
we offer on-site training if you have a group of developers to train):
* SYDNEY: 15-18 October. Only two places currently remaining! We have
several international students flying in to join us, and I'll be
delivering this course. More: http://tinyurl.com/2j68tu
* MELBOURNE: 22-25 October. This promises to be a great course, with two
instructors and a reduced class size. More: http://tinyurl.com/399z4j
* WELLINGTON: 29 October - 1 November. An early-bird discount is still
available until 29 September. More: http://tinyurl.com/2tkfsw
* BRISBANE: 5-8 November. An early-bird discount remains available until
5 October. More: http://tinyurl.com/2wga7r
* NEW DELHI: 5-8 November. Our New Delhi course is filling quickly.

* BANGALORE: 19-22 November. This is our first-ever course in Bangalore.

* CHINA: We have various training courses running across China. See

USER GROUPS
=====================================================================
Are you from Sydney or Melbourne and would like to present at our next
user group meeting? We're looking for small (15-30 minute) presentations
covering anything likely to be of interest to a Spring audience. Some
suggestions include reviewing Spring features that you've used in your
enterprise applications, interesting software that integrates with or
supports Spring, or perhaps how to use an interesting feature that
people might not have explored before. Please feel free to contact
Jayant Joshi (jayant at iris.com.au) in Sydney or Adam Boas
(adam.boas at renewtek.com) in Melbourne if you're interested. Jayant and
Adam are our user group co-conveners and are happy to hear from you.

THE SPRING EXPERIENCE
=====================================================================
Our third annual North American developer conference will be running
12-15 December in Hollywood, Florida, USA. Last year we had several
Australians join us for the conference, and all had a great time! The
Spring Experience has dozens of detailed technical sessions across
multiple parallel tracks. Not only do we have all the Spring product
leads presenting, but we have a great events calendar planned for
attendees at Florida's fantastic beach-side Westin Diplomat Resort. The
early bird discount period ends on 5 November, so head across to
http://tinyurl.com/3yqs4w for details. See you there!
Best regards
