UPCOMING USER GROUP MEETINGS
=====================================================================
We've scheduled a number of free user group meetings over the coming
months. At these meetings SpringSource's Dr Paul Chapman will be
presenting a session entitled, "Spring 2.5: Enhanced productivity and
production power". This session is aimed at existing Spring users and
will introduce new capabilities including automated component scanning,
expanded annotated metadata services, and the considerable advancement
of convention over configuration in Spring's web framework. Paul's
session will also explore some of the more significant production and
runtime enhancements, including Spring 2.5's OSGi bundle support and the
new Spring Advanced Management Suite (AMS).
Paul's session will be intensely demonstration oriented, focusing on
refactoring an existing Spring 2.0 application to leverage the new
Spring 2.5 capabilities.

cities throughout Asia-Pacific. The parties will be the very first on
the planet to celebrate our exciting and as-yet-unannounced new
products. You'll witness the first public demos, plus enjoy free drinks,
food, socialising and fun with local developers and SpringSource people
alike. Full details will be posted on this list shortly, so stay tuned.

The conference will cover best practices, architecture and design,
enterprise systems, new languages, plus lean and agile software
development. Tracks include new frontiers, cloud computing, new
programming models, scripting and DSLs, plus server platforms.
